Lysobact is a sore throat medication in the form of soothing throat lozenges. These small, white lozenges resembling tablets bring comfort and reduce scratching and aching feelings in the throat caused by bacterial or viral infections.

Lisobact’s Active Components for Fast Relief
Lozenges contain Lysozyme, a natural enzyme found in human secretions (saliva or tears), that breaks bacterial cell walls and fights viruses and fungi. It is specifically effective for fighting Gram-negative bacteria. Besides, Lysozyme is a natural local immunity booster.
Also, Lysobact’s active compound is Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) that protects the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and promotes tissue healing.
With this combination of ingredients, Lysobact lozenges are recommended for the treatment of:
- mild sore throat;
- mouth ulcers;
- acute tonsillitis;
- pharyngitis;
- post-surgery rehabilitation in cases of tonsillectomy.
Use Directions and Safety
Lysobact lozenges should be taken in the following doses:
- For adults and kids over 12 – 2 lozenges 3-4 times a day;
- For children from 7 to 12 years old – 1 lozenge no more than 4 times a day;
- For children from 3 to 7 years old – 1 lozenge no more than 3 times a day.
Safety Measures
- Please note that Lysobact can enhance the action of antibiotics.
- The medication is not recommended for children younger than 3 years old, pregnant and lactating women.
- Do not take lozenges for more than 5 days. If, during this period, the symptoms do not reduce, contact your GP.
