Description
Fucorcin Topical Solution is a traditional antiseptic preparation intended for external application to small areas of the skin. Its formula combines fuchsine, boric acid, phenol and resorcinol in an alcohol-based solution, ingredients traditionally used for their antiseptic and drying properties. The solution is commonly applied to minor cuts, scratches, abrasions and other superficial skin damage to help keep the affected area clean. Its drying action also makes it useful for areas where excess moisture can interfere with normal skin recovery. Fucorcin is easily recognized by its characteristic bright crimson color, which may temporarily stain the skin. The 25 ml bottle is suitable for targeted application as part of a home first-aid routine.*
