Pour 1 cup (200 ml) of hot boiled water over 6 tablespoons of the herb placed in an enamel bowl, cover it with a lid, heat on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, let cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the remaining plant material through a double gauze layer. Bring the resulting decoction volume to 200 ml with boiled water. The prepared decoction is used externally for baths (1 to 2 cups per bath), or in the form of compresses (without diluting the decoction.)
