Description
The composition of the ointment is based on the herbal extract of larkspur (comfrey), as well as vitamin E and corn oil. Comfrey is known in folk medicine for centuries. In folk medicine it is sometimes referred to as “knitbone” for its ability to speed wound healing. Allantoin is the main active component in comfrey and it is believed to reduce pain, stimulate the processes of regeneration of bone and skin tissue. Tannins are considered to accelerate the healing processes in wounds and ulcers. Vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) is a powerful natural antioxidant, that helps to rejuvenate dry skin. The ointment is very easy to apply, it has a rather nice texture and pine smell. *
