The action of Anzibel lozenges is based on three chemicals: Chlorhexidine hydrochloride, Benzocaine, and Enoxolone.
Active Ingredients
- Chlorhexidine hydrochloride (5 mg per 1 lozenge) provides a potent bactericidal action and disrupts bacterial cell membranes. It is effective against staphylococci, streptococci, and various aerobic and anaerobic bacteria that cause throat inflammation.
- Benzocaine (4 mg per 1 lozenge) is a local anesthetic that reduces the pain in the throat.
